Meet the Fixing Point team: Andy Jefferies, Internal Sales Representative
A passionate Internal Sales Representative who is highly sales-driven (although he does like a laugh down the pub after a hard day of work!).
Introducing Andy…
On a day to day basis, Andy is responsible for sales and account management duties. He’s the man (or one of them!) making the sales happen and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Having first worked at Fixing Point 12 years ago, Andy has returned even more positive than ever. He’s been a part of the growing development of the business, and was a core member as we strengthened the structure, processes and team alike – all essential in ensuring high-quality products and services are maintained throughout each stage of the sales process.
On a daily basis, Andy’s role involves…
Sales and account management. He deals with sales orders, quotes, chasing customer deliveries, liaising with warehouse on the lead times, and linking in with the Business Development Managers out on the road to make sure all the sales run smoothly.
Andy describes the Fixing Point team as…
Supportive. Everyone works together well – be it the production & warehouse guys, the sales office, the BDMs and accounts team. No one is averse to ‘mucking in’ where necessary! And while we’re all professional, we have a close bond that means we can laugh together and enjoy the working environment.
Andy’s biggest triumph at work would be…
Consistently getting to the office at 8 o’clock every morning…! Actually, Andy’s best bits include fitting in well with such a lovely team, and helping to improve the sales processes.
He’s also pleased that the newer company dynamic is much more structured and streamlined, and that the team is the kind of team that gets on well, meeting after work and having a laugh.
Outside of work, you’ll find Andy…
Watching Cheltenham Town football club (go, The Mighty Robins!), with some of the Fixing Point team! He’s also into his music bars, pubs and music in general.
You might find Andy cycling or visiting record shops to expand his vinyl collection, featuring classic early 70s rock like Zeppelin and Free, and more modern influences like The Temperance Movement.
